General FAQs

What is Relief Care and how does it work?

Relief Care is a digital platform designed to connect care givers, healthcare facilities, and care seekers. It provides a streamlined solution for staffing, job searching, and care delivery. Care givers can find flexible work opportunities, healthcare facilities can fill temporary staffing gaps quickly, and care seekers can book qualified professionals for at-home or personal care services.

Relief Care serves three main types of users:

  • Care Givers: These are licensed nurses, PSWs, caregivers, and other certified health workers who use the platform to find and accept flexible shift-based work opportunities.

  • Healthcare Facilities: These include clinics, long-term care homes, hospitals, and other organizations that post job listings and use the platform to hire temporary or on-demand staff.

  • Care Seekers: These are individuals or families who need personal healthcare assistance at home. They use the platform to search for and book vetted care givers directly.

Yes, Relief Care is accessible across Canada. We are currently focusing operations in Ontario and expanding nationwide as our network grows.

Signing up and browsing the platform is free for all user types. Fees or charges may apply based on the services used, but there are no hidden service fees for care givers and care seekers.

As an early access member, we are currently waving off any fees for the subscription. Pricing is subject to change at any time.

All care givers undergo strict document, license verification and criminal background checks. Facilities are also vetted for compliance. Transparent ratings and review systems are in place for all users, and our support team monitors activity to ensure professionalism and safety across the board.

Relief Care has a dedicated support team available through the app and email to assist with any issues, questions, or concerns you may have.
