★★★★★

"Mom came home from the hospital on a Thursday and we had someone with her Saturday morning. I'd spent two weeks on agency waitlists before this."

Maria K.Scarborough
★★★★★

"Being able to read the reviews and actually pick the person made all the difference. Dad has the same PSW every week now and he looks forward to it."

James D.Mississauga
★★★★★

"Our agency wanted a four-hour minimum three times a week. We only needed mornings. This worked out about $600 a month cheaper."

Questions families ask

Does OHIP cover this?
No — OHIP does not cover private home care. Ontario Health atHome provides some publicly funded hours, but families are typically approved for only 2–5 hours a week when they need 15–20. Most people use Relief Care to top up publicly funded care, or to get support faster than the waitlist allows.
How are caregivers vetted?
Every caregiver completes a criminal background check, government ID verification, and licence or certification verification before they can accept a single booking. Profiles show real experience and verified reviews from other families, and we re-verify credentials on an ongoing basis.
How quickly can care start?
Often the same day, and usually within 48 hours. Submit the form or call and we'll show you who's available in your area right away. Hospital discharges and urgent situations are prioritized.
What if the caregiver isn't the right fit?
You're never locked in. Cancel or reschedule free with 24 hours' notice, and request a different caregiver at any time — no contract, no notice period, no penalty. Payment is held securely and only released after a completed visit.
Can we get the same caregiver each visit?
Yes, and most families do. Once you find someone who works well with your parent, you can rebook them directly for recurring visits. Consistency is one of the main reasons families move away from agency rotations.
Which areas do you serve?
Toronto and the wider GTA — Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Scarborough, North York, Etobicoke, Oakville and Burlington. We're expanding across Ontario.
